Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information LLM Wiki Tools collects, how we use it, and how it relates to your documents, wiki content, and authorized MCP connections.

Effective April 22, 2026

Overview

LLM Wiki Tools provides a web application that lets you upload source materials, organize knowledge bases, and connect authorized MCP clients such as Claude so they can help read, search, and maintain your wiki. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our website, product, and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information, such as your email address and authentication details, which are handled through Supabase.
  • Content you upload or create, including documents, images, spreadsheets, wiki pages, prompts, edits, and knowledge-base metadata.
  • Connection and authorization data needed to let you connect Claude or another MCP client to your workspace.
  • Technical and usage information, such as browser information, IP address, device data, and error logs.
  • Local preferences stored in your browser, such as theme and certain interface settings.

How We Use Information

We use information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve LLM Wiki Tools.
  • Authenticate users, manage sessions, and keep accounts separated.
  • Store your uploaded files and generated wiki content so your workspace remains available over time.
  • Process documents, including parsing, conversion, indexing, and OCR when needed.
  • Enable approved MCP connections and carry out actions you or your connected client request.
  • Monitor reliability, investigate abuse, and comply with law.

How Your Content Is Processed

Raw uploaded files are stored by our service and may be processed so they can be viewed, searched, and used to build your wiki. Depending on file type and configuration, this may include PDF parsing, HTML extraction, office-document conversion, spreadsheet extraction, and OCR workflows. Files and derived artifacts may be stored in Cloudflare R2 or comparable infrastructure that supports the service.

Some OCR or document-processing flows may use third-party providers. In the current product architecture, certain OCR paths may call Mistral. We use those providers only to support product functionality, not to sell your content.

MCP Clients and Claude

If you choose to connect Claude or another MCP client, that client may be able to read documents, search your knowledge bases, create or edit wiki pages, and delete content within the scope of your authorized connection. Those actions occur because you initiated the connection and granted access through the service.

Your interactions with third-party AI products, including Claude, are also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, keep you signed in, protect the service, and remember settings such as theme preference. Some of these cookies are set through Supabase authentication. We may also store limited preferences in browser local storage.

Monitoring and Diagnostics

We use monitoring and diagnostics tools, including Sentry, to detect crashes, trace errors, and improve the reliability of the service. These logs can include technical context about requests, devices, and failures, and may in some cases include metadata related to the action that failed.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

  • With service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us run the product, such as authentication, storage, error monitoring, and document-processing providers.
  • When you direct us to share data through an authorized MCP connection.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and whether you continue to maintain an account with us.

Your Choices

You can control certain information directly through the product, such as the files you upload, the wiki content you keep, and the external clients you authorize. You can also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

Children's Privacy

LLM Wiki Tools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date above and take other reasonable steps to notify users where appropriate.
